Trash Talking

This Saturday morning (Dec 9th) from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Trash Talking is on the calendar- mine and hopefully yours!

We will be picking up the SOUTHBOUND Island Highway from about 750 m north of Old Victoria Road (there are a couple pullovers) to Old Victoria Road. If there is a terrific turnout, we can split off and have team 2 park at the end of the side road north of the Calico Cat (Chase River Road although I’m not sure there is a sign…).  They can work northbound.

Please see attached map. The 2 red circles indicate where the City will come by later and pick up.  The purple circle is priority one and the orange circle will get tackled if we have a great turnout.

We supply thin plastic gloves and green garbage bags.  Helpful items to bring are:

• friends
• 5 gallon bucket or something with a handle
• picker upper if you have one, but not necessary

Do not bring your doggies, not even if they are on a leash.  Sometimes it works, but this is a busy road.
