A Taste of Africa

A Taste of Africa is a Nanaimo Daybreak fundraiser in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Asaba, Nigeria to raise funds in support of a water borehole project at Oko-Odifulu Health Centre, Delta state, Nigeria.
The Oko-Odifulu Health Centre no longer has clean running water for patient care as their borehole water well quit working. They are currently carrying water from a nearby river.
This event will feature the sale of Ghanaian and Nigerian local textiles, jewelry and more. Tickets include food sampling of 9-13 different Nigerian and Ghanian traditional foods. Entertainment by BUWA with Patric Courtin.
